Day 42 - 100 days, 100 courses (Wednesday, April 22, 2019)
What’s a big change from 3 great days in New Orleans? How about a course in Mississippi that is surrounded by wetlands and all that encompasses (e.g. Gators and Snakes). To quote Indiana Jones; ’Why did it have to be snakes?’.
I hooked up with Stan and Wally at the first tee and agreed to play whatever tees they wanted to. They picked the forward tees. Alright, I thought, still a respectable rating and slope and maybe I can go low.
I was wrong. Wally warned me, it would be target golf and he was right. I think that I only used my driver 4 or 5 times. It was all layup and stay out of trouble. Narrow fairways, lots of marshes, water and sand determined how the game came out.
I started with a birdie and that was the high point of the day. I ground through the front 9 and played significantly better on the back. I would have felt better about the whole thing if Wally hadn’t shot even par.Bottom line:I would play againNone worth mentioning Rank ID # : 029500

“While the amenities our customers have come to know and love may be somewhat limited for the time being, the ability to safely welcome back our team members and guests remains our top priority. With this in mind, we have been working closely with the Mississippi Gaming Commission, state and local leaders, and public health officials to finalize comprehensive Phase I reopening protocols and new health and safety precautions. Our returning team members will be trained on these procedures and our guests will see reminder signage about them throughout the property. These new protocols include, but are not limited to, the following:
Social Distancing
*We will limit capacity on our gaming floor to no more than 50% of our maximum occupancy.
*The installation of floor decals and signage to strictly enforce social distancing guidelines in areas where lines typically form throughout the casino and The Bridges Golf Club.
*Slot Machines have been configured to maximize spacing, comfort and safety.
*Table Games have reopened with social distancing.
*Sportsbook Kiosks are available 24/7 for placing bets.
*Poker Room is currently closed; check back for updates.
*Convention and banquet services will remain suspended.
*There will be no large drawings, tournaments, or special events.
*Restaurant offerings are limited to Celebrity Grill - now with an expanded menu and Bogart’s Steakhouse.

Health & Safety
*Team members and vendors will be required to wear masks and will undergo a health screening each day, including temperature checks, prior to their shift.
*Based on the ruling by Mississippi Gaming Commission, and in order to help reduce the spread of COVID – 19, all Mississippi casinos will be requiring all persons in public areas to wear a mask covering the face and nose. Patrons may remove masks temporarily while eating or drinking or when asked by casino staff for identification. Guests not adhering to these requirements will be advised of the requirements and warned that if they continue to disregard they will be asked to leave the property.
